"Exposing by Contrast"
Letter to the Editor:
GOD’S MESSAGE, April 2011, p.3
BEING ALWAYS ON THE ROAD , it has become my hobby to tune in to your radio station (DZEM 954 khz) I must admit that I learn a lot from your programs especially with regards to various religious beliefs. In your attempt to be fair and objective, I also noticed that you quote from books written by authorities of other religions. However my wife once quipped why your speakers at times deal with the beliefs of other religions instead of just confining yourselves to the doctrines you uphold. Is that approach not against the Bible?

"Why not publish your own Bible?"
Letter to the Editor:
PASUGO, March 1996, p.2
YOUR PREACHERS USE different translations of the Bible in delivering a sermon. I was thinking that you do this to suit your own set of reasoning. But upon speaking to a member of your Church I was informed that it is necessary to use different translations of the Bible for there are Bible translations that contain mistranslated verses. If this is true, Why don’t you publish your own Bible and put all the correct translation of the verses in it? And given the premise that there are translations that contain errors, how are we to know which one is right?

"Are the Iglesia Ni Cristo members really prohibited from reading the Bible?"
IGLESIA NI CRISTO (INC) detractors tell others that INC members are prohibited from reading the Bible. They point out that INC members go to church without a Bible, and INC members are being compared to other religious organizations whose members generally carry a Bible to church. Are the Iglesia Ni Cristo members really prohibited from reading the Bible? Is this allegation true?
"Are the Church Of Christ members really taught to give tithings of 10%?"
THERE IS A PERSISTENT rumor among many people from other religions that Iglesia Ni Cristo practices the giving of tithes or giving 10% of a member’s income to the Church. This alleged practice of tithing is perpetuated by Church detractors who persistently sow rumors about tithing in the Church as a means to dissuade other people from joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo. This alleged practice of tithing is also due to a common perception among other people who are awestruck by the unceasing construction of beautiful and magnificent houses of worship or churches all over the Philippine archipelago and now in many places around the world. These people cannot believe that the Iglesia Ni Cristo can fund these large-scale church-building projects with only the voluntary contributions of its members, the great majority of whom are ordinary people, and most of them are considered poor in society. Thus, they assume (accept without proof) that the Church is forcing or compelling its members to give tithes or 10% of their income so the Church can finance these massive church construction projects.
"Are the Church Of Christ members really taught to give tithings of 10%?"
MANY ATTACK THE Church Of Christ, claiming that we are a religious Cult, or they claim our doctrines are comparable to other religious organizations such as the Jehovah’s Witness and the Mormons, etc., etc. But is this true?

“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.”
