On the IGLESIA NI CRISTO

BELIEFS

On the 110th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), members of this Church worldwide are filled with great exultation, humility, and thanksgiving to God. The Iglesia Ni Cristo commemorates its phenomenal growth and expansion, with an international membership comprising 151 racial and ethnic backgrounds. It maintains nearly 7,000 congregations and missions grouped into more than 178 ecclesiastical districts in 166 countries and territories on six of the world’s inhabited continents. There seems to be no other way by which to react to the blessings the Lord graciously accorded this Church as we reflect on the prestige and splendor He has bestowed upon the Iglesia Ni Cristo over the decades — from her humble beginning in 1914 to the splendid posture she now enjoys. Indeed, we cannot help but praise God Almighty.
One thing that we shall never forget to do amidst the merriment and jubilance is to recommit ourselves to the teachings we received through God’s Last Messenger, Brother Felix Y. Manalo. It is these doctrines and practices, well-founded in the Scriptures, that make this Church unique and exceptional. We emphasize the distinctiveness of the Iglesia Ni Cristo beliefs and practices because without these doctrines and practices, there would be no difference between this religion and any other. Therefore, there would be no cause for celebration because the Iglesia Ni Cristo would not be the Church it is today — the Church that truly belongs to Christ and to the Father in heaven.
Those who are dedicated to seeking the truth and hold a keen interest in religious phenomena often inquire about the Iglesia Ni Cristo. They inquire into the Church’s history, hoping to attain some idea of what the Church of Christ is all about. Understanding the Church’s history is important for gaining insight into its fundamental principles. However, to truly comprehend the Iglesia Ni Cristo, one must also explore the doctrines and principles it upholds.
With the aim of aiding others in achieving a more comprehensive understanding of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, a series of readings has been developed. These readings encompass a range of significant topics, from the nature and work of Christ to apostasy. We encourage all those who are curious or in search of truth to engage with these articles. They are designed to encapsulate the comprehensive doctrines and beliefs of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
