"If the Lord Jesus Christ established only one true Church, why are there many other churches?"

GOD’S MESSAGE, May 2022, p. 2
Editor’s Reply:
CERTAINLY, OTHER CHURCHES — besides the one built by the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 16:18) — are false and thus, have nothing to do with the Savior. In fact, He Himself exposed whose evil scheme the establishment and proliferation of those false churches are in order to caution everyone to avoid them because they lead people not to salvation but to condemnation.
In a parable, Christ likened false churches to tares or weeds that were sown by the enemy:
“But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way” (Matt. 13:25 New King James Version).
According to Christ,
“…the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil” (Matt. 13:38-39 NKJV).
Therefore, churches that were not founded by Christ are of the devil. To those who belong to such false churches, God commands them, thus:
“Then I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out, my people! Come out from her! You must not take part in her sins; you must not share in her punishment!” (Rev. 18:4 Good News Bible)
As people heed God’s bidding to come out of the false churches, they should also heed His command through Christ to enter the true Church:
“So Jesus spoke again: ‘In very truth I tell you, I am the door of the sheepfold. … I am the door; anyone who comes into the fold through me will be safe.’…” (John 10:7, 9 Revised English Bible)
The fold or flock is the Church Of Christ:
“Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood.” (Acts 20:28 Lamsa Translation)
This is the reason members of the Church Of Christ unceasingly invite people to join the Church Of Christ, for them to be included in the true Church established by Christ and thus be certain of salvation on the Day of Judgment.

“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.”
